Overnight Accommodations & Bridal Loft

Overlook Loft is a retreat in and of itself! Getaway from it all on our expansive 168 acres of rolling hills, ponds, and trails. Simple yet elegant accommodations offer the perfect spot to relax, fish, hike our trails, enjoy farm life, & a swing under a giant oak. Guests of the Overlook loft will have access to the GP hiking trail system, stocked fishing lakes, and scenic areas.

With a central location 25 minutes from the west end of downtown Greenville, and 15 minutes from downtown Simpsonville, guests can easily access the surrounding area, or explore some of our favorite local spots.

Only 2 minutes Happy Cow Creamery & Market and 5 from City Scape Winery.

The Overlook Loft has a private entrance from our stables, overlooking our training arena. Guests will enjoy an open floor plan in our fully furnished Loft, including a full kitchen, laundry room, two private bedrooms , dining area and living room.The second full bath is located downstairs across from the entrance to the loft.

Guest Access

Entrances, stables, and trails are under surveillance. Guests will enter a gate code provided after reservations are confirmed to enter the property. Follow the scenic path to the stables, where where another entrance code will be required to access the loft. Feel free to hike the trails, take photos, and explore the lake area.     This barn loft is an apartment over stables. If having a baby just starting walking or crawling, be aware there are stairs in the main space. (This wasn’t an issue for us.) We took our 5 and 2.5 year old walking the property, which was so peaceful and well kept. We didn’t use the kitchen because we came up just for a day (from Charleston about 3 hrs drive). The kitchen is one of the most well equipped rental kitchens I’ve been in. The following day, we drove 8 minutes to Cedar Falls Park Trail, hiked a bit both kids loved it + beautiful rushing water (free) and there was a nice playground at the park too. Town is about 18 minutes away + everything one could need is there: restaurants, Publix, shopping.

  • Beautiful property and very responsive and personable owner. The property is perfect for a quiet getaway, with some shopping within a 10 minute drive. The apartment itself is well equipped with everything needed for the stay. We did a long term stay at this property (2 months) and enjoyed our time there. There are a couple small issues with maintenance of the property but the owner was responsive to addressing everything and is actively making the property a great getaway.

  • Gratitude Farm is a wonderful location, great place if you want to relax. The apartment is a lovely loft above stables with comfortable bedrooms, living space, and stocked kitchen. There is a 2nd full bathroom downstairs in the general stable area, not within the loft upstairs, which we didn't use because it wasn't as convenient. The property has plenty of places to walk just outside your door. The grounds are beautifully kept, lakes are just a short distance on foot. Happy Cow Creamery is down the road, as well as a winery. Groceries are nearby for those who want to cook. Restaurants are located within minutes in any direction. There are plenty of places to explore if you want to venture out. My husband and I and our kids enjoyed ourselves tremendously and look forward to returning! Would be an ideal place for an outdoor event/special occasion!

  • This was a perfect place to unwind after sightseeing around Greenville. It's a huge property with lots of trails and even a small lake you can walk along. The horses that were being kept there was super friendly and loved to see us when we'd take walks around the field. The space is also very private, being a fully-finished loft area above the stables. The amenities were simple, but very adequate. My daughter is already missing it! We will definitely consider going back in the future.
