The GP experience isn’t complete without checking out two of our favorite local attractions.

Happy Cow Creamery has been around since 1979. They are renowned  throughout the region for their milk and butter products, but we like to go for the ice cream and farm fresh produce. They also offer a quality selection of snack items and sweet treats. In addition, they offer guided tours, and seasonal experiences like strawberry picking. It’s located just down the street, no more than a half mile away.

CityScape Winery is a must see. Located only 3 miles away, CityScape recently launched the debut of their brand new facility. The new space is expansive, boasting a fun and lively atmosphere. You can choose from a variety of patio, porch, and bar seating areas within the winery, making it the perfect spot to wine down solo, or with a big group of friends. With accommodations of such close proximity, you can enjoy this attraction to its fullest.

Downtown Greenville.

Nestled up against the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in the heart of South Carolina's Upcountry, you'll find Greenville. Greenville's friendly, thriving downtown pulses with things to do year-round. We recommend dining at Paloma, Reid’s Fine Foods, Tupilo Honey, UP on the Roof, and Passerelle Bistro. For shopping don’t miss Monkee’s of Westend, Vintage Now Modern, the Mast General Store, and Plant Stella. Get there in only 25 minutes, a straight shot down HWY 25.

Downtown Simpsonville.

Located in the rolling hills of northwestern South Carolina, Simpsonville is in the heart of the Golden Strip, one of the fastest-growing areas in the Southeast. Don’t miss Vaughn’s Warehouse, a hub for food, drinks, music, and fun with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to spread out. Grab a beer/wine at the service station and some tacos, or grab seat for gourmet food and cocktails, it’s hard to to be disappointed here. Did we mention its connected to a Pinball Museum & Arcade? In a quick walk you’ll find Ice Cream Station, no doubt Simpsonville’s pride and joy. Last but not least, go to Exchange Coffee Co. for breakfast and thank us later. Interested? You can get there in no more than 15 minutes from GP.

Gratitude Preserve is located at 299 Mckelvey Rd. Pelzer SC 29669.
